The Season of Epiphany

The Season of Epiphany begins on January 6, and extends to the beginning of Lent on Ash Wednesday.  The season celebrates how the coming of Christ at Christmas is a message of love and hoipe for the whole world.

Due to the spread of the Delta and Omicron Variants of Covid, we have decided it is best to return to remote worship via Zoom, for the time being.

Meet Our Vicar

Blessings to you. I’d like to invite you to join us as We Grow in God to Serve the Community.  During these challenging times of Covid-19, we gather on Zoom which allows us to see and interact with each other in worship.  We are people of all ages and places who worship as one body in Christ keep community and serve God in the world.  If you want to know the stories of the Christian faith, belong to a welcoming community, and serve others, you will find a place to explore those things and more.  If you want relevant sermons and reverent worship, you will find them in a relaxed and joy-filled community.  We believe we have something to offer you and your family AND we trust you have something to offer us.  May God richly bless you as you seek a place to explore your relationship with Jesus Christ.

Do you need a prayer?

Send your confidential message to revpattyb@stclareschurch.org .   We will be happy to pray for you and yours.

Reaching Out To the Snoqualmie Valley

St. Clare's Essentials

Our Next Distribution is Wednesday,  January 12,  2022

One of the ministries of St. Clare’s Episcopal Church is to sponsor the Essentials Closet for the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank.  We accept donations of necessary paper products such as toilet paper, paper towels, disinfectant wipes etc., personal care items such as feminine products, incontinence products, tooth paste, body soap, shampoo etc.,  and cleaning supplies.   Any financial donations will be used for the purchase of these items for distribution at the food bank.  If you would like to find out more information or would like to donate, please contact our coordinator, Cindy Remick.

Knitting Ministry

It’s more than knitting!  We knit,  crochet, and quilt prayer shawls (to wrap yourself in) and lapghans (to drape over your legs,)  and make teddy bears to comfort people suffering from illness or trauma.  Since inception in August of 2019, we have made 210 prayer shawls and numberous quilts, hats, scarves and lapghans.  They have been sent throughout the United States, Switzerland, Germany, and Australia.

This opportunity is open to anyone, not just members of St. Clare’s.  Want to learn to knit?  We can arrange zoom lessons.  If you would like to participate in our knitters ministry or know of someone in need, e-mail us at admin@stclareschurch.org
