Sundries Closet Organizing and Distribution

Contact Cindy Remick to volunteer.  (You do not need to be a St. Clare’s member to help in this ministry)

About half of our sanctuary is filled with soap, shampoo, diapers, toothpaste, depends, feminine pads, TP, paper towels, etc. Get the picture??? Thank goodness we aren’t worshiping in there as it’s become Sundries Central! Honestly, what a wonderful way to use the space while we can’t be meeting in person!  Now we need to re-packaging everything in appropriately sized bags.

We are currently collecting items for our January distribution.  We are collecting food as well as Sundries.  Items most needed are:

canned tuna, beef stew, chili, vegetables (no beans please) hearty soups, broth/stock, jam/jelly, green beans, corn, boxed side dishes (like instant potatoes or stove top stuffing), breakfast cereal, granola bars, baking items including spices.

We can always use diapers, Size 5, 6, Pull-ups and overnights diapers.

Knitters and Needleworkers

Our prayer shawl and lapghan ministry has now expanded to include quilts.  Come join us on zoom each month for instructions, help, community and just a good time for a good cause.

Our next meeting is March 4,  2021 at 10:00 a.m.   Email us at: admin@stclareschurch.org to get the zoom link.
