During July and August, the donations have been abundant. Since we are unable to provide a distribution in September, we provided 2 months of core products to a record number 174 families, plus around 1500+individual choice items and over 900 rolls of toliet paper. We held a raffle for special items that are not part of the normal distribution. The raffle was a lot of fun and provided a bed, pillows, pools, canning products, hammock and more! . Knitters and Needleworkers
You’re making WHAT???? Fake wasp nests. Yes, it’s really a “thing”.
In addition to making prayer shawls, and hats, scarves, and mittens to give away when the cold weather is upon us, we are making environmentally friendly wasp deterrents. Wasps are notoriously territorial. By hanging the fake wasp nests under the soffits, we hope to discourage the wasps without spraying chemicals.
